Please read below about Sustainable West Seattle's October meeting this
coming Monday, October 15, at 7pm, at Camp Long. Should you have questions, please contact Chas Redmond. His contact information is at the end of this e-mail. --Stan Sustainable West Seattle's (SWS) October monthly meeting will feature a forum with both pro and con voices on the Regional Transportation Improvement District (RTID) proposal (Proposition 1) for this November's election. Come decide for yourself whether this $19 Billion proposal is a good use of our taxes. Sustainable West Seattle meets at Camp Long in the main lodge, October 15, from 7 to 9 pm. SWS is a group of local residents committed to creating a sustainable community through education and advocacy of urban sustainability. SWS has five action groups that explore and practice elements of sustainability in energy & conservation, food & health, water & waste, transportation, and green building methods and practices.
