meet at south parking lot of Lincoln Park.Comfortable shoes will be the order of the day when local historian Ron Richardson will lead a walking tour of Fauntleroy. The tour will acquaint newcomers with historic sites and give long-time and former residents a refresher course in neighborhood past and present. It will start at 11:00 am at the south parking lot of Lincoln Park and proceed at a leisurely pace to such points of interest as the Pierce garden, Fauntleroy Church, early homes and the creek fish ladder. Ron has line up resource people to chat with the group at sites along the way. The Southwest Seattle Historical Society is offering this free event as part of its ongoing mission to make West Seattle history accessible to all.
