Camp Long Environmental Learning Center, 5200 35th Ave SW Come to the Camp Long's Dessert Auction and Coffeehouse Fundraiser featuring amazing Rock and Roll artist Alice Stuart. Alice Stuart blazed the trail for women in Rock and Roll as one of the only females in the country to write her own music, front a male band, and play lead guitar on national and international circuits during the 1970's. Alice and her band mates Steve Flynn & Mark Willett were honored by the Washington Blues Society and chosen the Best New/Reformed Band for 2006 and Alice was give the award for the Best Songwriter (2004, 2005, 2006) Come enjoy Alice's tasty licks, delight in delicious desserts and help raise money for the Camp Long Advisory Council and naturalist led programs. AND Volunteers needed for the Camp Long Fundraiser: 10 am to 1 pm - set up and decorate room; when finished do a weed and litter pick-up around the lodge and parking lot. 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm - deliver desserts to tables, help serve coffee, help collect dishes, attend to guests. 9:00 pm to 10 pm - help clean up and take down decorations, sweep, mop, put away tables and chairs.
