Alaska Junction The Market looks small compared to the dog days of summer when farmers and fresh food are packed into every corner, but many local farmers are still making their way to West Seattle every Sunday and are bringing in field greens, kale, chard, leeks, carrots, squash, potatoes, garlic and apples. There are free-range eggs, artisan cheeses, beef and chicken, wine, ciders, hard ciders, wild salmon, honey, wild mushrooms, jams, preserves, fresh pasta and baked goods. Happens rain or shine or snow or sleet or whatever!
